FOREM Navarra is the Training and Employment centre of CC.OO. and primary collaborating centre for S.N.E. (Integral Centre).
The qualification and training of workers is the central theme for the present and future development of our Autonomous Community. The professional development of people, quality employment, competitiveness and social cohesion will not be possible without training.
The Trade Union CC.OO. of Navarra, aware of this requisite and responsible for giving efficient and quality responses to the on-going training and employment needs of workers, created FOREM for the promotion and management of professional training and orientation.
Our aims are:

• To promote actions of information, orientation and training, both in access to employment and throughout the working life.
• To analyse the permanent training needs and skills of workers, whether employed or unemployed, and contribute to improving working conditions through continuous training.

What we do

Our work method responds to the challenges posed by society at any given moment and our efforts are focused on improving the professional qualifications of workers.
FOREM, dedicated to quality and continuous innovation, generates and transmits knowledge to help workers progress, and in so doing, help companies and organisations.
We work on developing an integrated system of professional Information and Guidance which offers advice to workers, employed and unemployed, in relation to:

• Training and employment opportunities.
• The system of qualifications and the possibilities of evaluation and accreditation of their professional skills

Furthermore, in the FOREM centre in Pamplona we have a play centre designed to help fathers and mothers attend the training courses or, simply, to come along for information or any other consultation.

Training

FOREM has an ample prospectus of training courses which are permanently updated and adapted, aimed at employed or unemployed workers.
The training must serve as a guide to workers in acquiring skills with a greater future or strategic impact. People and their training are one of the most important factors in overcoming moments of uncertainty, crisis and change.

Employment

Structuring the activities of the employment service is based on the persons/companies who use these same activities and their needs.
Activities aimed at individuals are:

• Individual professional guidance: Individualised counselling and information on job searching
• On-line professional guidance.
• Group orientation: Talks and Workshops, in FOREM centres or in any entity, association, education centre, etc.
• Self-employment: Advice on business projects, tutoring and information on the complete development of projects.
• Employment Club: Computer service and access to Internet, consultation of library, press and official bulletins, access to job lists, together with advice from expert personnel.

Organisations and companies

FOREM offers organisations and companies:

• Design of training actions adapted to the needs of the company and cooperation in developing training projects.
• Advice on handling documentation and processing Fundacion Tripartita aid for Employment Training, through professional training quotas. Researching specific training and employment demands.
• Information and orientation on the National System of Qualifications.
• Business analysis: planned visits to companies with the aim of obtaining practical and real information on their interests and needs.
• Recruiting personnel.
